Overview

This job is responsible for working in close alignment with the Marketing Automation Specialist as well as designers, developers and project managers to coordinate, build, setup and send emails and digital communications through our marketing automation software.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for the upkeep of the email schedule, ensuring emails are on target to be sent on time
• Responsible for managing email campaigns throughout the project process, ensuring projects run smoothly through the process and all approvals are obtained
• Responsible for building testing, proofing, setup and sending of emails
• Responsible for assisting with email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing and deployment
• Manage the coordination of email reporting
• Assist in researching and implementing the latest best practices and industry standards across marketing automation platform
• Implement A/B and multivariate testing on emails and content to continually maximize performance and engagement
• Perform other duties as assigned by management for LEAF, and other brands within the M&T Bank brand
• Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
• Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Education and Experience Required

• Associate’s Degree and 2 years of professional work experience or in lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of 4 years’ education and relevant experience

Education and Experience Preferred

2+ years of marketing experience preferred

Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Pardot, or similar)

Must be detail-oriented with the ability to plan and implement complex processes

Must have superior communication skills, both written and verbal

Must be highly organized and self-motivated with a sense of urgency

Strong independent project management skills

Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision

Able to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretion

Ability to work in a fast paced and progressive environment

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

Working knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred, but not required

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $27.24 - $45.40 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
