Full job description
Great Mall in Milpitas, CA is the largest indoor value shopping mall in Northern California. We are looking for a skilled maintenance technician to join our team.
We are the former Ford Motor Company Manufacturing Plant, so nothing is typical here at the Great Mall. We offer a unique challenge for someone with a huge pocket full of common sense, committed to doing the job right, willing to do what it takes, when it takes, the ability to follow directions and provide informed, valuable feedback.
Are you experienced with or have an understanding of a various trades in commercial and retail maintenance operations? We are looking for someone with a variety of skills and willingness to learn more.
Desired working knowledge and/or skills include:
*Landscaping
*Property cleaning/shopping cart collection/pallet collection, (yes, cleaning. We all clean here. Even me!)
*Painting
*Sheetrock
*HVAC
*Fire/sprinkler/life safety
*Mechanical
*CCTV Camera/Wi-Fi/Networking/Cabling
*Inventory and equipment control
*Property inspections
*Electrical
*Plumbing
*Carpentry
*Able to walk 5 miles a day. We are a shopping mall.
*Excellent customer service skills
*Conflict resolution skills
*Must work as an individual and in a team environment.
Typical Hours:
Work Schedule is Saturday - Wednesday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Days off Thursday and Friday. Occasional overnight work for holiday décor set up and take down or special projects. Must be flexible to work as needed including nights, weekends, and holidays.
