Opportunity
This Awards Manager will lead the UK awards campaign within a team of managers working on awards and event programming in the EMEA region, working with the various Netflix divisions as well as external agencies and partners.
The Compensation Manager (UK Advertising) will report to the General Manager (Delivery and Compensation Process)
Work
Awards and awareness programs in the UK across the board including AMPAS, BAFTA, BIFA and UK-based professional bodies (e.g. BSC)
Management of UK inspections, including booking locations and liaison with domestic inspection teams. Manage emails that promote Netflix reviews and other rewards programs
Coordinate with colleagues in the United States to ensure coordination of campaign planning and execution
Leader and expert of the UK Craft Guilds, build and maintain relationships with key people and organizations, and develop strategies for partnering activities.
Managing the FYC BAFTA website, including managing assets and resources, uploading and reporting weekly. Management of UK companies and consultants.
Ad-hoc support to all teams as required, including referrals, internal and external staff and campaigns across EMEA.

We are looking for a member who is interested in jumping into the project. They are hard working, meticulous and tireless in trying to find a solution. They will be able to communicate with a wide variety of outsiders including but not limited to artists, talent buyers, companies, vendors, donors and others. responsible for activities to improve communication and to ensure the best representation of Netflix. They will be able to communicate confidently and effectively with partners across the region and the world. They must be organised, efficient and able to use their judgment to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks at once. They have a positive attitude, are hard-working and thoughtful, able to approach challenges and obstacles with maturity, and have a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the entertainment industry, preferably in a gift, festival, networking or corporate setting. Experience of working on film award campaigns for AMPAS and BAFTA is essential, as well as a good knowledge of the UK film and series industry. Direct work experience and talent is highly desirable.
The role will include evening and weekend work; although the role will be UK-based, regular travel will likely be required to support the team's work in the EMEA region.
