Full Job Description:
American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. requires financial managers to, under the supervision of the director, perform quantitative analysis of investment activities or financial accounting and analyze the transaction value for presentation and management. Perform detailed financial analysis, provide key functions/business units, and include company performance in the larger company and competitive landscape. Conduct financial analysis to include impact on current strategies and policies as well as long-term vision for American Express. Conduct ad-hoc analysis to share with management, analyzing key drivers of American Express business performance.
This position requires a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, statistics, actuarial science, computer science or related field, 5 years of consecutive experience in the field of financial analysis and forecasting. 'global or international level. . Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience in financial systems including TM1 and Oracle; 1 year experience analyzing business requirements, customer behavior and company processes, and communicating results to senior management and business partners; 1 year experience translating complex financial concepts into actionable insights to present to business leaders for decision making; 1 year of experience in liquidation analysis, accounting and capital distribution; 1 year experience performing internal financial controls, including updating existing manuals; 1 year of experience analyzing the performance of investment portfolios, reviewing general ledgers, and creating templates and models for complex investment strategies; and 1 year of experience working in financial analysis in the credit card industry. Telecommuting is available up to 3 days a week.
