The team you are building at the Bengaluru Technology Development Center will work on Fintech, loyalty and payments, which is called Fintech & Loyalty. The platform and experience the team will build will allow us to offer our customers the best financial products across geographies, channels and customer segments, providing a seamless experience and allowing them to complete their purchase. Our work requires us to accelerate and work with some of the most talented engineers, designers, product managers, data scientists, operators and analysts to discover, develop and develop world-class software products. .

What to do:
Build and grow the presence of a commercial engineering team in India from scratch
Lead the scope of work and contribute to the development and deployment of multi-year technology and strategic planning for a critical business area that spans multiple systems, teams and leverages engineering across Storefront, Provider and Promotion. Software Development Team - Design a great way to support the business and own all aspects of the SDLC: design, build, deliver and maintain.
Manage multiple software engineers and managers directly and indirectly by providing coaching, mentoring and advice to develop teams and individuals.
Promote, coach, mentor and support your team in their daily work and long-term professional growth
Attract, onboard, develop and retain diverse high-level talent, while fostering team and culture collaboration (our latest DEI report)
Lead by example to your team and peers. As a team leader, your processes, technical and operational excellence, and systems strategy will contribute to the continued development of our region.
Identify, propose and develop strategies to improve the technical skills, standards, practices, architecture and documentation of our engineering team.
Facilitate technical debate and decision-making in business appreciation
Continue to reflect and challenge the status quo, even when it challenges your/our established assumptions.
What you will need:
Results-oriented, collaborative, proactive and continuous improvement spirit
Hands-on experience driving software change in a high growth environment
5+ years of engineering experience, including at least 4 leading high-performing teams and their managers
Experience making architectural and design decisions for large platforms, understanding trade-offs between time to market and change.
Relevant experience in technical and management work and improving the growth and performance of people
Experience designing and building large-scale products, with exceptional user experience. Hands-on experience recruiting and developing an engineering team and culture as well as leading a team of coaches in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to communicate and collaborate across the organization, affect decisions and lack of authority and always include communication, change and approval.
