This CEO role will help develop Delta's long-term strategic roadmap, identify transformational opportunities across divisions, and understand the associated creation/retention value. This position will also be responsible for supporting the Delta C-Suite, senior management and priorities and helping to manage strategic opportunities to achieve our long-term goals. Main functions:
Collaborate with management and senior executives across all divisions to identify, define and plan end-to-end opportunities and key challenges.
Extract different topics, ideas and opportunities into activities, plans, plans. Develop solutions to problems, identify research needs and information needed to support them, and articulate both solutions and ways forward.
Manage a cross-functional team to develop and manage key industry concepts and processes, market changes and competitive benchmarking to support or modify strategies as necessary. Stay accountable for deliverables and timelines, changing priorities as needed and managing team relationships and expectations.
Support the preparation of documents for meetings of the Board of Directors and other executives in collaboration with other business leaders.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
2+ years of demonstrated experience developing and executing strategy or program management at Delta, other large corporations, strategic planning firms, or investment banking firms.
Ability to work effectively with senior management and leadership on company related issues to drive change and achieve strategic goals. The presence of a leader to be an effective change agent, leading with influence and vision across the business, turning the strategic plan into something tangible and easy to understand.
Experience in financial analysis, research design, data analysis to help evaluate strategic options and develop creative solutions to complex problems. Experience analyzing external systems, sources, information to develop ideas/opinions/recommendations on rapidly changing or controversial topics.
Independent, reflecting change and change in a highly visible environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
