POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director, IT Finance & Administration, the Manager, IT Finance & Administration is responsible for the timely and accurate financial management and reporting, and general administration for the ITS department. Provides operating budget analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Supports the development and management of capital budget requests and provides expenditure tracking. Responsible for managing various financial and administrative tasks to support the financial functions of the department, including approval and processing of invoices and purchase orders. Works collaboratively with the team to monitor all aspects financial activities. Provide analytical support to resolve operating and finance issues. Creates a positive, constructive and supportive relationship between ITS and the Finance Departments, as well as within ITS.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Responsible for the management of total ITS budget of approx $100 million over 25 cost centers.
- Work with ITS leadership and the CIO to create annual operating budgets and monitor actual results in accordance with BMCHS Finance standards.
- Analyzes and investigates monthly non-salary and salary budget variances.
- Provide monthly consolidated financial status reports to ITS leadership
- Provide Directors with reports showing budgeted and actual account status.
- Manage ITS position control, including all vacancies, new FTE requests, and posted job requisitions.
- Review and approve all expense submissions to ensure that they are allowable, allocable and applicable
- Oversee activities of and supervise department Budget and Administrative Specialist.
- Oversee financial and administrative tasks to support the financial functions of the department, including approval and processing of invoices and purchase orders
- Prepares annual routine capital budgets for ITS for submission to Finance
- Coordinates with the Finance department regarding the approval of new capital projects and the establishment of associated funding accounts
- Provides monthly budget analysis for all large capital projects.
- Performs analysis and support for ad hoc projects as needed
- Provide a quarterly operating and capital budget review to ITS leadership.
- Maintaining required level of professional knowledge on finance as requested by attending training programs as identified by Manager.
- Collaborates with Finance personnel as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree required (Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Management or related field preferred)
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
None Required
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of four years of experience in financial management, preferably in healthcare
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaborative across various business units and with external vendors
- Ability to provide leadership and work effectively as a team member
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to assess needs quickly and identify logical solutions
- Strong knowledge of Apple mobile devices
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Infor, Strata, and Workday experience a plus
