JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Manager
DESCRIPTION:
The Pack Label, a creative agency and an industry leader in the world of hemp, CBD, and THC is seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our team. This is a full time position Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Manager that will be responsible monitoring daily production activity, identifying root problems in processes, and developing procedure. The position is also responsible for analyzing operational needs through use of Finale management system, and other custom reporting, building out functionality, and implementing solutions. An advanced understanding and prior proven proficiency of Excel and worksheets is required. The ideal candidate will be data driven and have strong multitasking and organizational skills.
Ideally, our Manufacturing Manager will have effective communication skills and a positive and flexible attitude. This role will entail but not be limited to the following responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY:
- Provide systems support to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor production data, identifies/analyze issues, and develop solutions
- Act as Project Manager for all production/operational analysis
- Professional understanding of machinery used in packing and pre-packing areas
- Develop project plans, timelines for operations
- Collect and utilize data to maximize efficient operations
- Utilize Excel to organize data and address issues
- Perform regular data audits, check error logs, and resolve issues identified therein
- Establish KPIs through utilization of SOPs and historical metrics to monitor production/operational throughput
- Daily administration and performance management of an active production environment
- Perform data driven reporting, regularly providing reports to management
- Work with Management to develop or revise Standard Operating Procedures and working best practices
- Play a key role in developing these capabilities as part of a broad effort to improve and sustain process maturity throughout the organization
- Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by management
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Data driven, excel and reporting skills, attention to detail
- Analytical and numbers oriented
- Previous operations industry experience
- Report and data visualization skills
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Docs, ERP systems, etc.
- Functional experience should include the demonstrated ability to enhance or align current systems
- Ability to multitask in a highly active and changing environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- 3 - 5 years in a similar field/role preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
