Job Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator at Jonathan Club will play a key role in supporting the marketing department in implementing marketing strategies and campaigns to drive brand awareness, search engine optimization, and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of marketing principles and be able to effectively communicate with our specific brand tone of voice.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the following:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Assist in the production of brand materials, such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
- Support the execution of blog posts and social media posts.
- Assist in updating website content to ensure it is current, accurate, and optimized for search engines.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.
- Provide administrative support, including reporting, managing calendars, and documenting processes.
- Work with all departments to ensure that communications are coordinated and on-brand.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
- Background in hospitality is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with multiple departments.
