Los Angeles-based international beauty manufacturer/distributor is looking for a Marketing/Social Media Manager, Hair Care to develop and oversee the social media marketing strategies and to manage the social media identities of two of our nail brands. You must be adept at crafting compelling content plans/calendars and generating the creative to support your vision. You should feel passionate about beauty and be an enthusiast when it comes to nail art and nail products.

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling social media channel plans and campaigns that support brand marketing initiatives, new product launches and retailer support.
• Plan out and create original content that will increase KPIs such as reach, impressions, views and engagement rate which will ultimately increase revenue.
• Coordinate with influencers and content creators to generate brand awareness and create excitement for new product launches, activations, and PR events.
• Analyze and interpret campaign and content performance to inform optimizations and share those learnings/insights with marketing and cross-functional teams.
• Research competitive and social media beauty trends and inform broader marketing team regarding potential opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in social media marketing, either at an agency or in-house.
• Experience in all major platforms: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest.
• Experience in analytics tools such as: Dash Hudson, Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
• Experience in influencer or content creator platforms such as: Tagger, Lefty or Perpetua/cobrand.
• A big plus if you have a background in graphic design, photo editing or video editing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in marketing
