Position Title: Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Analyst
Location: Remote (Nashville or Chicago Preferred)
Job Type: Full Time, Salary
Reports To: Business Solutions Director
Position Summary
The Business Solutions Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Analyst is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Transition Services Agreements (TSAs) during mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other business transitions. This role ensures smooth operational continuity, compliance with contractual obligations, and effective communication between all stakeholders involved in the transition.
Key Responsibilities
TSA Management and Oversight:
- Oversee the execution of TSAs for Finance, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all TSA-related matters.
- Insure execution of AP and AR Cash tracker and supporting documentation are completed
- Coordinate to insure accurate billing for the TSA Services. This will entail working closely with the team in regards to cutover dates, etc.
- Resolve any issues or disputes arising from TSA execution promptly and effectively.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Liaise between acquiring and divesting entities to facilitate services as well as a smooth transition.
- Coordinate with internal departments (IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Operations) to ensure their support and involvement in the TSA process.
- Attend all meetings related to TSA activities and cutover plan to include escalating roadblocks. Identify potential risks and challenges in the transition process and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage communication with external partners, vendors, and service providers involved in the transition.
- Ensure that all parties adhere to agreed timelines and service levels.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all TSA-related activities, agreements, and communications, this includes updating the Cash tracker for all funds transferred between the entities.
- Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Other:
- Support other Business Solution initiatives and projects where required
Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred or equivalent relevant experience will also be considered
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing transition services agreements, mergers and acquisitions, or related project management roles.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of handling complex transitions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- SAP experience as this will also be a tactical role
- General Knowledge of legal and compliance aspects related to TSAs.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to adapt to changing business environments and manage uncertainty.
- Strong negotiation skills to handle disputes and align stakeholder interests.
- Flexibility in work hours to accommodate different time zones and urgent transition activities.
