What’s the opportunity?
HawkCell is a fast growing startup founded in 2019 driven by a common mission: to transform MRI imaging for the well-being of animals and humans. To support our growth and expansion to the next stage, we are looking for an MRI Engineer to join the team in the US, ideally based on the East Coast.
As an MRI Engineer with HawkCell you will be the first on the ground in the US. You will support, train and advise our veterinary clients to use their MRI systems most efficiently, carrying out scans and developing new protocols for pets and helping pave the future of better MRI within pet healthcare.

This position is remote but you will have to be based in the US.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be delivering state-of-the-art solutions to our customers. You have an ability to understand the needs of the customer, and present unique customized solutions based on our products, which exceeds customer expectations.

You will be an important part of a team within international business, development and integration of image processing software for medical imaging for MRI. We encourage initiatives and ideas that may lead to improvements of our products and work processes.

Develop and maintain excellent direct relationships with key customers, supporting them on site or remotely such as setting parameters for MRIs, developing and updating field-specific protocols, adapting and optimizing equipment to customer needs.

Support the US clients by carrying out applications training as well as pre and post sales demonstrations of HawkCell’s solution.

Assist the sales department by taking part in pre-sales (support during site visits, MRI image acquisition demonstrations, image reviews, demonstration of our Technology), representing the company at national and local exhibitions with workstation demonstrations and provide support during customer site visits.

Contribute to the company's R&D activities, in particular by participating in the development of new products for pets.
What you’ll need:
-
Experience as an MRI Engineer, a plus if in the veterinary services field

Qualified as an MRI Engineer (ARRT, ARMRIT, AMRIT, JRCERT or CAAHEP)

You are degree qualified in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Biology, Radiology Technology, Anatomy, Physics or other relevant disciplines.

Great communication skills, enabling you to clearly explain MRI procedures and expectations at every step of the process.
