We are looking for a candidate with music production or in-house experience to work as a music production specialist for our live events and anime productions in Korea. The successful candidate will excel at identifying and implementing effective music production solutions that will support our production and overall slate growth across local languages and live. Functional Expertise: The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the music production and production process, from green light to launch. Expert in music budgeting for a variety of productions, as well as maintaining close relationships with songwriters, music supervisors, agents, managers, labels, publishers and producers fear. Someone who understands all aspects of the production life cycle (pre-recording, playback, production, licensing, labeling, recording) and how to manage music throughout. Supervises film and/or music production from set to final mix and integrates marketing and sound and music promotion opportunities.
Strategic Leadership: Facilitates and collaborates with content, production management, production and business / policy regarding the implementation of the music production process internally and externally with producers. Aligning the short and long term needs of how we create music and create for our content. This leader will be flexible and innovative as we develop workflows for live events and anime productions - local languages from partners in Korea and contribute to music production/production global development plans. Experience & Skills
Experience: 5+ years as a music producer or house music manager in a theater. Experienced in the field of music production for movies, series and anime. This role will involve deep creative relationships with labels, publishers, managers, agents, songwriters, music managers, etc. and must have a broad understanding of music management or work in a theater as a music director. This role will be internal and external, and it will be responsible for promoting production and production managers in music production/production and financial management.
This role will require opportunities to measure creative/musical production (e.g. global contracts with music distributors or licensing agencies, music studios, composers, etc.)
This project will aim to create educational and outreach opportunities in areas where music supervisors are not readily available. Collaborating with Music and Content Marketing Development to identify high-impact music tracks where songs, artists, brands and performances are included in the content to help drive conversation around the brand. Act as a resource to promote relationships with local music talent to support this effort. Collaborate with directors, producers and production management to manage music production goals
Consider the music budget and make sure you agree with partners and producers
Recommend and create a list of music managers, producers, songwriters and composers
Advise on camera performance and manage clearance and production requirements
Work with the music editor and media coordinator to prepare music for auditions and auditions
