Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of our network systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network solutions based on business requirements
- Configure and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, optical transport network
- Assist with FTTH network design and implementation of equipment
- Manage the circuit design and provisioning on the transport network
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security and data integrity
- Conduct regular network audits to identify areas for improvement
- Seek and participate in educational opportunities as needed to refresh, update, and enhance skills and knowledge that pertain to job responsibilities, company operations, customer interests, and industry outlook. This may include workshops, webinars, learning sessions, reading materials, classroom study, etc.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of network administration and engineering principles
- Current CCNA and/or CCDA certification, required.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
- Ability to perform network monitoring and analysis using tools such as Wireshark or Nagios
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,551.00 - $87,384.00 per year
