Job Summary

***This is a hybrid opportunity that will work from the office 3 days a week. Must live in a commutable distance to the listed office.***

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing project leadership in developing, reviewing, revising, updating, and maintaining all standard contracts for the professional and ancillary networks across our 5-State plans. Functions include maintaining the central repository of electronic contracts on the shared drive. Ensuring all provider contracts are updated timely and consistently according to corporate policy, BCBSA rules, and state and federal regulatory agencies. Ensuring all professional and ancillary network agreements are consistent for all products (HMO, PPO, traditional/par). This person will work closely with the legal counsel within HCSC.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree or four years business experience.
• 4 years contract document experience.
• Knowledge of health insurance and Network Management operations; familiar with HMO and PPO product lines and understand how they interrelate.
• Project management experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Organizational and planning skills.
• Flexibility to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Written and verbal communication skills to include previous experience writing policies and procedures.
• Ability and willingness to travel, including some overnight stays

PREFERED JOB EXPERIENCE:

• Knowledge and understanding of healthcare contracts, provider contracts - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Experience working in teams and across multiple departments
• Clear and concise, polished, professional communication
• Ability to adjust to project changes and make suggestions to accomplish goals
