We are seeking an Office Support Specialist to join our team at Broward County's Libraries Division.
Position details:
Location: 100 South Andrews Ave, 6th Floor
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (one hour lunch)
Length: 1 month (w/ posssible extension)
Duties include but aren't limited to:
- Preparation of personnel files for archival
- Prepare and scan background check paperwork
- Handle interoffice mail
- Compose various correspondence (email, memos, letters, forms, etc.)
- Proofread documentation to identify and correct errors
- Research, gather and compile information
- Organize, file, scan and make copies as necessary
- Create new personnel files and pull out separated personnel files
- Redact sensitive personal identifiable information as needed
- Answer phone and take messages
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Attention to detail, multi-tasker
- Data entry skills
- Experience working with confidencial and sensitive information
- Experience with Microsoft and Adobe Suite
- Excellent comunication (both verbal and written)
- Being able to work both independently and in a team setting
- Event coordination
- Social Media management
- Photography, video, graphic design experience is a plus
- Capable of handling a large volume of workload
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $19.21 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
