Full Job Description:
As a Transportation Operations Engineer (TES), you will lead and manage the lifecycle of complex infrastructure projects, developing and delivering the next generation of logistics and distribution. You are a customer-facing leader who will play a critical role in the design and implementation of home network infrastructure, including new construction, renovation, expansion and program planning. Liaising with internal customers and internal/external stakeholders to engage as a team and ensure fast delivery will be part of your mission is critical.
The essential skills for this position include insisting on the highest standards by ensuring that the contracted facilities meet the organizational, budget, safety and quality objectives; analyze and dig into system performance, design and facilitate solutions to improve processes and results; and provides technical expertise to clients and stakeholders.
Main Functions
• Works independently with internal and external teams to effectively manage the lifecycle of complex projects and act as an owner in achieving project goals and objectives. Services may span a group or geographic area in support of business objectives. • Actively participates in business technology research and has a strong influence on the proposed solutions in individual processes or components, in the process of planning and the process of installation.
• Interact with internal teams, vendors and vendors to set priorities, establish priorities and schedule to meet deadlines. Carefully analyze the background and priorities of the team, solve problems and devise solutions to reduce the impact of problems.
• Leads and coordinates all execution and delivery efforts of automation systems and infrastructure plans in accordance with standards and guidelines. Perform equipment / system installation, qualification and security qualification. Simplify, optimize, remove barriers, and provide feedback when solving complex system problems or technical gaps. • Leads an effective organization by setting objectives, getting the right people in-house and conducting detailed business and negotiation / project planning. Document meeting discussions, decisions and future processes ensuring alignment of expectations with internal partner groups and external vendors. • Promptly and accurately communicates work conditions, risk assessments and risk mitigation plans. Responds effectively to project inquiries in a detailed manner and regularly presents a clear and concise summary of projects to management/management. • Effective strategic planning and/or resource planning, including planning, technical specifications and operational capabilities, to internal and external customers.
• Effectively manage change order, procurement and invoice posting/approval. • Excel at building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders on multiple projects
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that improve team engineering and team performance, maximizing team value and delivery. Through collaboration, create high-quality solutions that are affordable and short-term. • Travel up to 80% indoors, although travel capacity may vary and is limited to three consecutive weeks, including weekends.
