Full Job Description:
This service helps Starbucks succeed by doing product packaging work in the kitchen. Type
and acts in accordance with Starbucks guidelines. Summary of main functions
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensures appropriate manufacturing partners and non-working machine operators to reduce the impact of production time. Reduces production waste, including materials and coffee products. - Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area. Use safe and secure packaging, and follow all safety procedures and regulations. - Maintains continuous and timely attendance.
- Check and document the quality of the package using the scanning tool. - Use all packaging materials to work in the kitchen. Ensure that product packaging appearance, markings, labels, and case and pallet arrangements meet product specifications and quality standards. - Participate in process improvement programs. Maintains approved contributions to meet team goals for reliability standards and budgets. Trains machine operators and associates as required.
- Security Second Service - Do a BBS review
- Secondary security role - Act as an assistant for security related matters; trains other partners in designing security practices and policies

Manual of work on automatic packaging equipment (year 2)
Perform quality tests using diagnostic tools (1 year)
Organized Food Production Environment (1 year)
Mechanical ability to fix minor mechanical breakdowns and make minor changes (1 year)
High school diploma/GED, US military service or equivalent
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Ability to understand policies and written instructions, specifications and safety standards
Ability to work in diverse team environments
Ability to work based on safety, quality and hygiene standards, policies and procedures
Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical and mechanical problems in systems
Experience performing quality tests and data analysis
Ability to train others and measure performance
Basic math skills
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Mechanical knowledge of machines and automatic devices
Ability to work based on quality, safety and hygiene standards, policies and guidelines
Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs
Knowledge of global food safety laws and regulations, including the Food Safety Administration (FDA Code of Federal Regulations) and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Experience with GFSI certification systems (ie BRC and/or SQF).
