Overview:
Packer / Line Inspector's primary responsibility is to verify the quality of product being produced by visually reviewing product for defects.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to verify the quality of product being produced by visually reviewing product for defects and package at press as being produced.
All tasks performed must be performed safely and comply with all safety and GMP policies.
After checking product for defects which we will train you to inpsect for, you then package product into packaging for storage.
This involves reading production instructions for quantity and configurations of how to package properly directly onto pallets at your machine.
Standing, walking, reaching and lifting boxes of up to thirty -five pounds repetitively during a tweleve hour shift.
This process moves at a fast pace and is best suited for those that like to keep busy and not have sedentry tasks. Time passes quickly!
Will perform tasks that require you work with others as a team and alone at times. (Great coworkers!)
Qualifications:
Safety conscious
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work safely in a fast paced environment
Basic mathematical knowledge
Good hand/eye coordination, able to lift up to 35 pds routinely. Able to stand, walk, bend, reach for tweleve hour shift.
Able to wear all required PPE (Hair/beardnets, Ear plugs, Safety glasses/ goggles, steel toe safety shoes, bumpcap, gloves, etc)
