In this position, it will be required to provide support in several areas of the project, including customer service (tickets and gates) and the ramp operator. You will play a key role in demonstrating Delta's commitment to our customers by making their travel experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. At Delta, our brands are important to our continued success. As a Customer Service Manager / Ramp Representative, you play an important role in supporting the strength of our brand by demonstrating integrity and team compliance, maintaining your professionalism and demonstrating a positive attitude good inside and outside work. As a ticket agent, you are the first to greet our customers. You will guide and assist them through the ticketing and loading process.
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
Use a computer to sell, print and return tickets.
Manage the check-in process, ensure customers have the correct documents for travel. Tag bags and perform lifting operations that include transferring bags from scales to conveyor belts. Most other lifting jobs will involve handling low-level and high-level objects such as stairs. Demonstrates safety-conscious behavior in all work processes and procedures.
As a Gate Agent, you will assist our customers with travel, travel planning and check-in.
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
Use the computer to assist customers in obtaining seats, gate status information about the check-in process, flight status, check-in and baggage handling, managing and initiating the check-in process.
Arrange the jet ways to put them in position before the plane arrives and lift, open, close and secure the plane's doors. Demonstrates safety-conscious behavior in all work processes and procedures.
As a baggage handler/ramp operator, you will work with an innovative team whose mission is to ensure that our customers' bags and cargo arrive safely and on time to deliver a positive customer experience.
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
Pick up, load, unload and transfer luggage, mail and cargo to and from the aircraft.
Manages on-time connections by directing incoming and outgoing flights through the gate. Protect cargo, cargo, and mail from damage, loss and weather.
Drive slowly and operate ground equipment such as plows, belt conveyors and tractor pulls in crowded areas. Also repeatedly load the cargo into the truck and ensure that each bag reaches its destination
perform computer checks to ensure that baggage and baggage have been properly delivered to the passenger's destination.
Demonstrates safety-conscious behavior in all work processes and procedures. What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
Have a high school diploma or equivalent GED
Always put safety and security, of yourself and others, first.
Embrace different personalities, ideas and styles. Be at least 18 years old
Repeatedly lifts bags or objects weighing up to 80 kilograms
Have the right to live and work in the country where you are applying
Get entry-level computer skills
Strong oral and written communication using grammar, pronunciation and pronunciation
Willing to work flexible hours and/or shifts, including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
