The Pharmacy Technician position gives people the opportunity to work in a retail industry and in a job that positively affects the lives and health of others. As a new pharmacy technician, you must complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician training program and meet all registration, licensing and certification requirements according to your state pharmacy guidelines. Your manager will initially restrict your professional practice until you meet all the requirements. Once you have completed all the requirements and expanded your career as a pharmacist, you have the opportunity to continue to develop your clinical, technical and insurance knowledge and skills using tools and training available to build your career in pharmacy.
