The Pharmacy Technician position gives people the opportunity to work in a retail industry and in a job that positively affects the lives and health of others. As a new pharmacist, you must complete CVS's pharmacist training program and complete all registrations, licenses and certifications in accordance with your state's pharmacy guidelines. Your manager will initially restrict your professional practice until you meet all the requirements. Once you have completed all the requirements and expanded your career as a pharmacist, you have the opportunity to continue to develop your clinical, technical and insurance knowledge and skills using tools and training available to build your career in pharmacy.
