Company Profile
Hafemeister Machine is a machine shop located in Neenah, WI. We provide general machine work, repairing, building and welding services for all types of industries. We are currently looking for a plant accountant to join our team. The plant accountant would be responsible for administrating and organizing accounting documentation. Maintaining all the appropriate daily records on current jobs in progress, equipment, and resources. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, thorough, and highly organized in order to assure a steady completion of workload in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting operations including job posting, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, bank statements and account activity reports, in order to provide quick, accurate, and confidential reports and statements.
Conducts research, compiles data and prepares reports for Shop Supervisors
Generate emails, purchase orders and other correspondence when appropriate
Maintain shop supplies inventory
Assists in general technology support and Microsoft Access database management
Performs other miscellaneous and special project duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
Basic accounting knowledge and willingness to learn MAS 90 accounting software
Proficient in MS Office with working experience in Word, Excel and Access
Ability to work individually, maintaining efficiency and effectiveness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule
7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday – Friday
Compensation
$50-$65,000 Starting
+ Competitive Compensation Package
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
