Functions:
Netflix is looking for a PR Manager to support its pan-EMEA PR team. Our candidate will be a critical thinker, strong communicator and relationship builder who can be a trusted partner and advisor to teams across multiple disciplines. This is a unique opportunity as this work will include important communications for external and internal audiences. The right candidate can creatively and creatively design stories and translate complex ideas into concise stories for media (print, online, etc.) and 2500+ EMEA employees. The position will play an important role in a small group, so the work is very large and the work can change from day to day. The ideal candidate has a knack for planning, goal setting, problem solving and drive.
General duties and job expectations include, but are not limited to:
Create and execute strategy to grow Netflix in EMEA in sales and media
Create compelling stories for Netflix and high-quality media placement in entertainment
Create pan-EMEA PR campaigns, events and articles covering all regions
Acts as a spokesperson and liaison between Netflix and the media
Decide on strategic PR strategies and opportunities, events and conferences and create activities that will strengthen the Netflix brand.
Project management of key EMEA internal communications initiatives, including EMEA town hall meetings and executive meetings.
Manage problem response in a timely, efficient and competent manner
Create announcements, presentations and other PR materials
Make the right decisions, even in the face of uncertainty, and think clearly
Eligibility:
8+ years of communications experience, preferably in the media, media, entertainment and/or technology industries
Good understanding of the EMEA media and entertainment environment and the confidence to build relationships with journalists - delivering business, technology and media stories to TV, radio and media.
Leadership communication and interpersonal skills
Good link goals
Strong project management
Ability to work efficiently, independently and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
Have a good understanding of local culture in the EMEA region
Good organizational skills, good judgment of brand and risk communication and effective time management
Have ideas and be able to offer their unique ideas and voices
