Summary
As an Engineering Project Manager within the Product Design organisation, you will be responsible for managing the development and implementation process for one of our iPhone Product Design teams. In this role, you will lead day-to-day activities to achieve overall program objectives, with a focus on mechanical engineering design, development planning and validation cycles.

Description
• Promote daily activities to achieve the overall goals of the project.
• Enable development effort by creating and monitoring an efficient and lean process.
• Redirect traps and develop a better course of action. Identify and direct all resources required to execute successful projects.
• Create and maintain project schedules
• Collaborate and facilitate communication between Engineering Managers, Operations Manager, Marketing Managers and our OEM partners to achieve very aggressive cost, schedule and quality targets.
• Lead cross-functional communication between project teams and external vendors.
• Provide timely problem resolution and critical path management
• Offer multiple levels of status across a broad spectrum of individual contributors to executive management. Possess strong presentation skills.
• Understand technical issues and bring them to conclusion by bringing key decision partners together
Educational experience
- A BS ME diploma or equivalent is required
Pay and benefits
At Apple, the base salary is part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary range for this role is $113,500 - $207,000 and your base salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become Apple shareholders by participating in Apple employee discretionary stock programs.
