Femacare is a pioneering MedTech startup founded by a team of doctors and researchers from IIT Bombay. Our mission is to revolutionize women's health by developing innovative medical devices that address critical challenges in reproductive and sexual health. In collaboration with our research partner, Nanobios Lab at IIT-B, we are currently working on a groundbreaking 4th Generation Contraceptive Device that aims to prevent pregnancy while also protecting against HIV and other STIs.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Product Management Intern to join our team for an exciting summer internship opportunity. As a Product Management Intern, you will have the chance to work closely with our founders and contribute to the development of cutting-edge medical solutions that have the potential to positively impact the lives of women worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the product team to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces using Figma, leveraging your strong UI/UX skills
Conduct thorough competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation
Develop comprehensive Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs) to guide product development
Create user journey maps and compelling user stories to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience
Assist in vendor onboarding and management, building strong relationships with key partners
Contribute to the creation of compelling pitch decks to showcase Femacare's mission, vision, and product offerings to potential investors and stakeholders
Manage and optimize Femacare's website and social media presence to engage and educate our target audience
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a BTech degree, preferably in your 3rd or 4th year
Passion for healthcare innovation and a genuine interest in improving women's health outcomes
Strong UI/UX skills and proficiency in Figma
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative and drive projects independently
Eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact
