Full Job Description:
As a project manager, you will support the planning and preparation of new work standards, plans, safety standards and models. You will gather, synthesize and interpret information from various partners and help develop projects to implement. As the food & beverage business continues to evolve, you'll help integrate safety, technology and great service into the dining experience. To ensure the continuity of the guest experience and engage in class action across sectors and company standards, this project will develop the entire front desk process, including plans for assurance and impact executive decision. You will report to the Executive Director, planning and coordinating the food service operations
Range:
This scope of work includes Walt Disney World, with many projects involving both operational and non-operational areas. This work has a high level of visibility; The ideal candidate is comfortable working with different cross-functional teams at different levels within the organization. The scope of work can be complex and highly confidential in nature.
You will be:
Interpret current Walt Disney World Food and Beverage and company standards to impact development integration, documentation, maintenance and training for existing and new operations. Collaborate with the safety industry to translate, influence, develop and integrate food and nutrition safety standards.
Key competences leading the development of the best services, representing the food & beverage business in efforts to develop and integrate existing and new service models. Promotion, influence and engagement with audiences of key stakeholders, partner groups and customer functions, including but not limited to security, financial management, enterprise engineering, customer insights, workforce management , employee relations, legal services, consulting and insurance, job training, communication and documentation.
Communicate with operators to maintain an understanding of priorities, business requirements, weather, environmental impacts and the overall nature of conditions and behaviors affecting food service operations. Understand business issues identified to improve site performance to define and develop strategies to overcome barriers to business decisions.
Supports the integration of new technology into the dining experience to ensure flawless service delivery. Collaborating internally within a single line of food & beverage business to improve relationships with customers and partners and to enhance integration.
Influence and develop change management efforts at the customer level. Maintain a visual presence in all operations to observe, influence, implement and monitor policy implementation efforts.
Address and explain Union agreements, procedures and decisions affecting the food and beverage industry. In collaboration with key stakeholders and clients, design, influence, develop, draft and integrate new and revised business processes, policies and regulations.
Develop a timeline and carefully identify resource constraints, conflicts and scheduling problems. Leadership and passion for safety, hospitality and service.
You have:
5+ years of experience leading Disney food and beverage, across multiple functions
Strong operational understanding of Walt Disney World Food and Cast Safety
Ability to lead and coordinate large scale projects
Demonstrated skills in influencing, negotiation, communication, presentation and public speaking
Ability to simultaneously manage high volume and multiple priorities in a variety of competitive roles
Accept and implement organizational changes
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and strategic direction
Ability to build trust between internal and external stakeholders
Good relationship building and communication skills
Understand when a project should involve multiple partners and decisions should be made at other levels of the organization
