About the District of Columbia (D.C.)
- A metro area that offers the perks of a large urban area, Washington D.C. is home to plenty of restaurants, entertainment venues, a variety of museums, public parks and other cultural sites.
- Not uncommon to find that each neighborhood in the District and its surrounding towns have their own atmosphere. Whether it’s gathering for block parties, mingling at dog parks or conversing at coffee shops – it’s easy to see how an ambiance similar to that of a much smaller community exists.
- Experience the changing of the four seasons in the District. Warmer temperatures can linger into the beginning of fall, easing Washingtonians into the winter months. Then comes springtime – a popular sight to see with the blooming of the cherry blossom trees along the Tidal Basin.
