Wells Fargo India enables Wells Fargo Bank NA to have a global franchise, supporting business lines and customer services across technology, operations, risk, analytics, quality and processes, automation and products, analytics, structure and quantity. Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) provides comprehensive banking, capital markets and advisory solutions, including a range of marketing, trading and research capabilities, to corporate, government and corporate clients. We focus on the total financial needs of our customers, understanding and respecting their relationship with Wells Fargo.
These duties include working with leading companies and investment banks within CIB's marketing support team which is part of the Front Office. Specifically, this team works on development and maintenance (MDM) supporting the quantitative strategy team. The MDM team is an extension of the US Front Office team. The team works across asset classes such as interest rates, credit, equities, commodities, foreign exchange and XVA in the form of pricing, risk management and stress testing. Duties include, but are not limited to, data and code support, data analysis, model testing, and documentation of assigned models.
Services include, but are not limited to:
Participate in the design, implementation and development of Front Office test plans
Participate in the creation, execution and development of monitoring plan templates
Verification of consistency and accuracy of numerical models
Conduct a comprehensive testing process to ensure that the Front Office model is robust, flexible and works well with current market conditions and challenges. These activities are part of the model development process and should not be confused with tests performed as part of the independent model validation process.
Write code (Python, VBA, C++, etc.) and refactor code after getting support to do it.
Summary and presentation of results
Participate in the production of research papers and reports
Actively participate and contribute to group discussions in specific areas/projects
Keep proper documentation of all procedures and keep code up to date
Respond to ad hoc inquiries from various stakeholders including US corporate figures, publish templates or create new reports/releases as requested by stakeholders.
