WE LOVE OUR WORK.:

This position is responsible for administering processes related to drug screening and Workers Compensation claims, while assisting the Track Doctor and EMT in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength and compliance goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Process and track all racing department workers compensation claims.
• Communicate as necessary with departments regarding workers' compensation claims
• Service as medical director in communications with HISA.
• Maintain file on all jockey injuries
• Ensure all jockeys have been released by physician & cleared to ride .
• Maintain card file on jockey exams
• Assist doctor and EMT when necessary
• Coordinate schedule of track doctors
• Inventories stock and orders racing related supplies.
• Reports all recordable accidents to insurance carriers
• Provide professional representation at internal and external meetings and events.
• Demonstrate abilities to meet performance expectations with Communications, Initiative/Problem Solving, Guest Service/Interpersonal Relations, Work Habits and Conduct, and Responsible Gaming/Business Ethics.
• Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the customer service program.
• Adhere to all Corporate and local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Associate’s/Technical Degree preferred, RN Certification; 1-2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Registered Nurse Certification

STARTING SALARY: $30 an hour, based on experience
