Downey Community Health Center is an independent (NOT CORPORATE), 198 bed family owned skilled nursing facility, serving in the Downey Community for over 40 years. We celebrate the quality care provided to our residents and seek to find those that are wanting a family work environment!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan and implement and evaluate patient care
- Coordinates care of assigned residents, including the assessment of the resident's needs and development of a resident care plan
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating changes in patient’s condition
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets information from health care members and documents and reports to charge RN and/or MD
- Oversee unit staff to ensure delivery of timely and quality care
- Other RN duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Active California RN license
- Must have 2 years experience as an RN in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- Able to multi task
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- MUST BE VACCINATED
