EXPRIENCED Lead Insurance Operations Associate for Wealth Management Firm

We are a well-respected and highly successful Wealth Management team, looking for a team member who is extremely experienced in insurance underwriting that can lead our firm’s insurance department, so we can continue to provide the level of service our HNW clients deserve and have come to expect.

The Lead Insurance Operations Associate will be a liaison between our underwriters and home office team, the Wealth Management Advisor and our clients. Applying candidates must meet our qualifications and apply with up-to-date licenses and current underwriting experience. Our ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication and experienced in communicating with HNW clientele.

Note: This role is remote.

The Lead Insurance Operations Associate will contribute to the team in the following ways:

¨ Lead the insurance department for the firm

¨ Regularly communicate (written & oral) with HNW clients

¨ Review and process insurance applications from entry to policy delivery

¨ Schedule and order medical, nonmedical, and/or other data necessary for underwriting

¨ Operational Support: meeting/file preparation, run illustrations, case notes, e-filing

¨ Policy owner service and client aggregation

¨ Data entry, with accuracy and adhering to strict compliance regulations

¨ Gather client data, assist w/processing case notes, correspondence and maintaining client case files

¨ Maintain strong compliance documentation related to research and client interaction

Qualifications: applying candidate must meet our qualifications

¨ Bachelor’s Degree (required)

¨ Comfortable in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing details or accuracy.

¨ 4 years of current insurance underwriting experience; whole life, term, disability, LTC, etc. (required)

¨ 4+ years of full-time experience in the financial services/wealth management field (required)

¨ Detail-oriented with stellar communications skills (verbal & written) & comfortable with HNW clients (required)

¨ Life, Accident and Health Insurance License (required)

¨ Proficiency a MUST in: Outlook, Google Calendar (required)

¨ FINRA licenses – 6/63 or the equivalency of (required)

¨ Must be adept in technology and able to learn new software quickly and excellent with spreadsheets

Compensation and Benefits:

¨ Base Salary: $75,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience and licensing

¨ Potential for long and short-term incentive compensation
