Starbucks is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to support the Carson Valley manufacturing and distribution center. The EHS Manager will be responsible for a variety of technical tasks across all EHS disciplines focused on associate health and safety, risk mitigation, and ensuring compliance with federal, state and local EHS regulations. The EHS Manager will establish, implement and deliver site-specific EHS programs and promote a positive safety culture through communication, engagement and continuous improvement.
As an environment, health and safety manager, you:
Lead all aspects of the organization's environmental health and safety (EHS), which include: safety programs, occupational health, waste management, environmental rights and industrial hygiene, and ensure all aspects are in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. federal government.
Lead, develop and implement environmental, health and safety programs and provide direction and analysis across various functional areas, teams and/or operations to address compliance issues and implement best practices.
Develop a culture of continuous improvement and an EHS-ready approach
Lead a team of environmental, health and safety professionals
Support incident analysis and root cause analysis, so that corrective and preventive measures can be identified, communicated and implemented
Provide information and guidance on federal, state and local government EHS requirements
Serves as site liaison for regulatory agencies necessary to promote safety and environmental stewardship and to address any issues or concerns.
Analyze and analyze appropriate metrics to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
Supports workers compensation case management process and return to work program
