The Security Advisory Services team at Insight is seeking a passionate Security Advisory Consultant to join our team as a remote (US Based) teammate.
The Security Advisory Consultant I is responsible for delivery of client services such as information security assessments and tests. Incumbents must have a strong ability to communicate assessment findings and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with clients and internal personnel on projects involving multiple disciplines.
- Assess the client’s security status based on various security frameworks.
- Assist in identifying potential opportunities discovered in the assessment and testing processes.
- Understand highly technical problems and be able to suggestion solutions.
- Work closely with Insight teammates to ensure timely delivery of product and coordination of technology resources at client locations.
- Maintain a knowledge set of new technologies.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- BS in Computer Science (or in a related field) or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar position.
- A customer service or support background is a plus.
- Having industry certification is a plus.
- Must have exceptional communication skills including written, oral and presentation.
- Must possess strong analytical skills.
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills to work with clients.
- Must be able to work independently.
The base salary range for this position is typically $75,000-$82,000 with an additional 15% bonus and benefits available. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.
