Requirements
· A high school diploma/GED or equivalent.
· A valid, up to date NYS Security/unarmed guard license.
· Proficient in utilizing a computer / tablet, and ability to type.
· Familiarity with Building Security Systems & CCTV systems.
· Ability to stand/walk for up to 8-hours or throughout shift duration.
Job Description
Work directly under the Director of Security and alongside the Security Team in the capacity of a Security Guard. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
· Patrolling the property to secure premises and personnel.
· Monitoring surveillance equipment.
· Enforces all security and life safety policies, rules, and procedures.
· Monitors computerized Access Control, CCTV Systems, and respond to emergencies and alarms.
· Remain aware and alert at all times to potential security breaches and fire safety practices.
· Monitor and employ action when required on the Building’s Fire Alarm System.
· Processing via the Building Security Systems, Tenants and Visitors for access into the Building daily. This includes validating ID cards, recording the information in a Visitor Management System and producing daily identification cards to visitors and contractors.
· Answering of phones and recording messages.
· Validating Property Removal Passes for tenant property leaving Building.
· Preparing and submitting detailed incident reports.
· Respond to tenant complaints & concerns.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
