Full job description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
Behavioral Systems Southwest, Inc. is looking for a security staff to work in our residential program. We are committed to providing comprehensive reintegration services to the ex-offender population - from problem solving, decision making, social skills development, employability and job search and a comprehensive support system.
Job duties include, but are not limited to population counts, urinalysis testing, searches, accountability/movement control in and out of program, life safety, etc.
The goal of the security staff is to protect the health, safety and welfare of all residents by following determined policies, procedures and protocols.
What is Required:
Must possess excellent written, verbal communication skills, along with the ability to be organized and multi-task. Must be able to work varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to pass an extensive criminal background investigation. Must have clear DMV and present a 3 year DMV printout at the time the application is filed. The candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
This is a 24 hour, 7 day per week, 365 day per year program that never closes. Candidates must be able to work shift work - graveyard/swing shifts, weekends and holidays.
