We have an immediate opening for a Senior Account Executive - Social Media in our New York, NY office. Our Social Media team is composed of creative and analytical minds with go-getter personalities. We have a love for all things hospitality - culinary, hotels, travel and more. The right candidate knows how to build relationships with clients, mentor colleagues and can work a standard Reel into an epic piece of storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Offers client-facing support, effectively carryout day-to-day functions on account work
- Execute strategy, with focus on specialized areas such as copywriting, community management, pulling analytics, creating content calendars and coordinating with influencers
- Works with strategists for big-picture strategy and goals
- Presents and/or leads during client meetings and actively participates in drafting new business proposals
- Conducts research, reporting, photoshoots, influencer list building and outreach, and leads drafting presentations/decks, at times with a manager
- Copywriting such as community management, reports, recaps, influencer deliverables, paid social ads and decks
- Advocates for the client, and proactively shares results with client in a timely manner; engages with influencers and leads influencer campaigns Leads search and the development of strategic partnerships and creative campaigns
- Coordinates and attends events on behalf of clients as well as in person meetings to capture content
- Motivates junior employees to ensure day-to-day work runs smoothly. Assist in the delegation of account work
Requirements
- 3 - 4 years of relevant work experience in social media
- 1 year of people management experience preferred
- BA/BS in Communication, Marketing or similar field preferred but not required
- Must be able to manage time and deadlines autonomously
- Ability to be an active part of multiple accounts simultaneously
- Successfully work independently and as part of a multi-functional team
- Adaptable, solution-oriented, and resourceful when tackling challenges and obstacles
- Self-starter who loves taking initiative and seeing things through to completion
- Highly motivated to learn new things and improve your skills. Driven and compassionate
- Proficient in Google Business applications, Microsoft Office Suite and other platforms such as Adobe, Canva and social scheduling sites in order to produce report results and create tools and templates for client work
- Proficient in content capture via mobile device and has editing skills
- Must be able to communicate in a clear and professional manner
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Knowledge and passion for the hospitality lifestyle industries - restaurants, travel/destinations/hotels, wine & spirits
Salary Range for this position: $65,000 - $75,000
