Main functions:
Lead Architect - Cloud Cybersecurity supports efforts to qualify cloud security for United Airlines. You will be part of a highly trained Cyber In this role, the Architect will work on creating and maintaining security-related documentation with product partners, platform, engineering and service teams to ensure compliance with standard security procedures. Responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of our cyber controls and related playbooks, procedures, processes and procedures.
Develop and improve security strategy and resiliency architecture, frameworks and models while working with other cybersecurity teams and partner organizations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop security and reimbursement policies to ensure company compliance with industry standard procedures.
Demonstrates professional technical skills in two or more areas such as security, resiliency, infrastructure, platforms, products, endpoints, applications, identity management, and data protection, and zero reliability.
Assess technical risks of existing network/systems and application architecture (IAAS/PAAS/SAAS and premises) against policies and associated risks, and propose appropriate adaptations or risk mitigation plans.
Help define and implement security policies/standards
Training and development of training and engineering teams to integrate CI/CD pipeline tools, test plans and vulnerability assessment tools for the cloud.
Serve as a champion of resources such as secure code for end-to-end configuration and success of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments
Threat modeling, end-to-end security assessment, design and development of cloud security policies, standards and procedures for various types of public/private/hybrid clouds.

Eligibility
License
4+ years of technical experience related to cloud computing (AWS)
Experience in AWS security, management and governance
Demonstrated experience in the development, optimization and implementation of security technologies, including application security, database security, network security and identity and access control.
Strong knowledge of cloud technologies
Empathic behavior has the ability to work in a team or lead a team effectively
Strong verbal and written communication
Good analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
Programming language design and logic
