The Senior CMS Solutions Architect is a member of our Digital Channels Content Management team responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of our CMS applications used by our content strategists and publishing teams across multiple business units. The candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to lead the technical direction of new software releases. This project will work on advanced strategies that will transform the way we deliver content across our channels by providing our United customers with the information they are looking for. Main functions:
Works / discusses a number of complex projects with business partners on technology and potential software solutions
Develops content management skills and applies this knowledge to application solutions
Demonstrates mastery of development processes, software design principles, and implementation principles
Demonstrates the sophistication of software engineering best practices, such as release control, continuous testing, automated deployment, cloud computing with AWS, and security.
Provides technical expertise and is willing to develop applications using information technology, caching and microservices
Implement technical solutions based on project requirements and actively manage requirements to deliver unique technical solutions
Leads the design, development and planning of technical solutions and standards to solve complex business problems
Review and work with vendors through the delivery of software
Name multiple roles within the team, including designer, project manager, architect, and analyst as needed
