Main functions:
United Airlines' customer technology department works with business customers and technology leaders to develop services and applications for airline services such as booking, check-in, payment, reservation systems and operational systems to help support United's business and digital channels. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for the development of critical applications, while working with a team of developers. You will design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing applications. Additionally, as a Senior Developer, you will build applications focused on providing cloud-based solutions. The individual will use industry-leading technology and enterprise-grade software on a daily basis. We will count on you to help this team go to the next level from a technical perspective.
Participate in the full development lifecycle, including requirements analysis and design
Serve as technical expert in development projects
Write technical specifications based on design concepts and stated business requirements
Support, maintain and document software services
Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
Analyze the code to find the cause of the error and rewrite the program as needed
Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
Collaborate with end users to design, modify, test and debug programs to meet needs
Recognized as an expert in the field, aware of emerging trends and industry practices
Performs the most complex and important tasks for the organization
Work without supervision and have enough latitude for independent judgment

Eligibility
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Management Systems and/or relevant work experience
5+ years of experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging new and existing software systems and/or applications for commercial sale or large scale infrastructure for internal use.
5+ years of experience in software development languages and components, C#, ASP.NET/MVC, Web API, WCF, MS Visual Studio, MS TFS, GitHub
Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft NET Core, SQL, NoSQL and Modeling
Excellent knowledge of system design and application development
