Full Job Description:
The Identity & Access Engineering team is responsible for building solutions to streamline the user account cycle, provide seamless authentication for internal and external applications, and support user access requests. We rely heavily on automation to create unparalleled solutions that help security teams achieve their security responsibilities by design. We are currently looking for a new product development engineer to help our team develop new projects, maintain and improve existing solutions, and are considering for research and greater capacity. This role will also be about helping to develop our system according to industry standards and best practices. In addition to being an excellent developer, our ideal candidate is most effective in a collaborative environment, enjoys new challenges, and is driven by curiosity and a creative mind. .
What to do
Build and manage features and access to tools and applications and work with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet specifications and deliver value.
Support for new and existing integrations with our leading identity platforms and services (SailPoint IdentityNow and Okta)
Consult with the broader infrastructure team on auditing and licensing topics, providing best practices and creating plugins to create an enhanced experience for developers who need auditing and licensing in their applications.
Support and recommend improvements across the entire IAM technology suite, including lifecycle support technologies, data and access governance, alerting and monitoring, group management and event publishing.
Stay abreast of industry IAM best practices and new solutions (including sources and off-the-shelf products) to help improve our brand and technology stack.
What you will need
2+ years of Python application development, preferably experience developing and maintaining compliance and authorization for web applications. Additional experience with at least one major web language or common scripting language (eg Java, Javascript, Go, PowerShell)
Knowledge of multiple research and capacity best practices, use cases, and models
Strong understanding and experience using the OAuth2.0 process
Good understanding of RESTful APIs and auditing and capabilities against them
Development experience in a project-oriented architecture setting; Ease of writing and deploying reusable APIs (Kubernetes deployment experience preferred)
Easy on the subject of identification and access control,
An example. Common access control systems (RBAC, ABAC, PBAC), PKI, user lifecycle models, least privileged principles, LDAP, etc.
Comfort with DevOps principles and source code and configuration management practices using GIT
Favorite art
Experience with IDaaS solutions such as Okta or SailPoint
Hands-on experience writing SQL queries
Experience using Hashicorp stack (Terraform and Vault), Elastic stack (Kibana and Elasticsearch), and Docker
Experience building event hosting and streaming data platforms (e.g. Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub)
Familiarity with open source authentication tools such as Keycloak, Open Policy Agent and Casbin
Broad knowledge of various IT systems and infrastructure to facilitate integration. Examples: ServiceNow, Jira, Active Directory, Google Cloud Platform, Workday, etc.
