How can you make an impact on this project?
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for contacting customers with delinquent accounts to ensure the accounts are resolved. They also perform preventative maintenance to avoid future delays in high-profile media accounts. This position serves as the principal of the Global Rewards Center of Excellence, reporting to the Director Comptroller. This position will work collaboratively within an extended team, helping to provide key news and analysis for US and global reward programs. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist as a consultant to US business partners across multiple business units (including GCSG and GCS), providing advice on financial, accounting and management practices for debt planning work focused on headquarters, and supporting financial technology changes (eg. R42, FALCON, FLARE) and delivery of financial data management systems.
The successful candidate should be familiar with American Express financial systems, accounting and technology, internal management, business acumen and strong interpersonal skills. WORK
The position will be responsible for:
Supports accounting functions and monthly reporting and ensures the integrity of financial results, constantly driving innovation and change.
Support Platform modernization services (R42); combined with various technologies to analyze and write the requirements to ensure a smooth transition to the new platform
Support projects and business plans to ensure that financial and management requirements / ideas are taken into account
Interaction with the main reporting system and interaction with the technical team
Collaborate with all company departments involved in the payroll process to improve automation and efficiency
Support for maintaining a strong control center for E2E services
Prepare and approve internal and external audit requests.

3+ years of professional experience in management, accounting or financial services with a degree in accounting or finance; CA/CPA/MBA preferred.
