A role in Sourcing means participating in the development of products that have a positive impact on people and the planet. We complement our sourcing capabilities with our drive for quality and social responsibility to positively impact the cost and quality of our products. We care about the lives of the people who make the products Target guests love and are aware of the impact our manufacturing practices have on the environment. In Sourcing, he will apply his expertise in fabrics, trims and packaging and accessories and/or housewares to promote and enforce responsible sourcing practices while driving the success and growth of Target's brands. The procurement team starts early in product development, develops cost models and tracks product status at every stage of the production cycle, from overseas shipment to our import, distribution and retail warehouses. And because Target is truly a global company, you'll be part of the team that manages global relationships in conjunction with the purchasing team that buys trends around the world. Your ability to stay abreast of our suppliers' activities will help ensure compliance with responsible practices and will influence the manufacturers Target chooses to work with. You will be a close point of contact with Target team members in sourcing offices located in 20 countries around the world and support their work as the liaison between overseas buyers, product developers and partners.
As a Senior Business Integration - Business Intelligence (BI) Manager, you will be a team leader who will help deepen engagement between the responsible sourcing team and related initiatives and business leaders across the pyramids, through strategic insights. You and the team you lead will imagine, develop and implement innovative BI solutions that enable RS&S, cross-functional teams and business partners to elevate responsible sourcing performance across the Target matrix. You will act as a representative of Target and interact with relevant industry partners to advance industry-wide BI solutions. You will work with internal partners to gain a comprehensive understanding of enterprise-wide BI needs, dependencies and potential solutions. He practices a proven project management methodology that enables his team to address both new product development and maintenance and issue escalation as needed.
General requirements:
- Lead a team that designs, develops, markets and maintains business intelligence solutions
- Design, plan and implement large-scale initiatives using established project management principles
- Curate data for major reporting venues like ESG Reporting, QBR, ERM, etc. Build meaningful networks of relationships with external organizations, including other brands, NGOs, consultants and international organizations to position Target as an informed industry leader and progressive force for good.
- Provide proactive, data-driven insights to the organization to drive updates to Target policies, goals, and initiatives.
- Leverage data, analytics, and reports to provide insights to support business decisions and inform purchasing practices.
- Supports product development throughout the lifecycle
- Build coalitions and lead scalable initiatives in collaboration with others
- Sustain resources by building and submitting proposals that clearly define the business case and use case
- Implement new and emerging business strategies and capabilities

About you:
- 1 - 3 years of experience
- 4 year degree
- Thorough knowledge of business intelligence software (Greenfield, DOMO, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Proven leadership skills including team management and development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple and clear communication and scenario building.
- Strong strategic and conceptual thinking with the ability to plan, organize and execute.
- Proficient in a proven project management methodology.
- Understanding of macro-environment trends and curiosity about the global landscape.
- Ability to analyze information to guide business decisions, manage project plans and resources
- Strong leadership, performance and change management skills.
