Main functions:
The primary role of the Chief Transformation and Optimization (TPO) is to lead a team of continuous improvement (CI) experts responsible for the implementation of key initiatives aligned with United's business strategy and collaboration with the chief operating officer of several sites and divisions. TPO senior managers quickly review and implement best practices across the system. Provide leadership, guidance and training at all levels and functions for the use and practice of CI processes and tools. Focus on efficiency and always strive to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction and reduce defects. Act as thought partners with business leaders to select, define and prioritize CI initiatives. Leads a team of CI professionals responsible for the implementation of key operational initiatives aligned with United's business strategy, collaborating with functional leaders across multiple sites and divisions.

What it takes to pass (minimum requirements):
Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, business administration or 4 years of relevant work experience
5-7 years of experience in continuous improvement work
Experience in implementing large scale and multi-system maintenance
For LSS Black Belt certification, a candidate must complete LSS Black Belt training and pass the LSS Black Belt exam, as well as progress on at least one of the LSS Black Belt certification tasks required for certification.
Demonstrated leadership skills
Knowledge of LSS software
Legal authorization to work in the United States should be given to anyone who works without a permit
Successful completion of the interview is required to meet professional qualifications
