Job Description
This position provides overall direction and management for global virtual infrastructure, server, network, and cyber security operations including implementation and ongoing technical support. Works with appropriate customer base to achieve reliable business process operations. It is responsible for ongoing status communications to IT and business unit management. P&L accountable.
The typical position manages approximately 150 employees with 3-4 direct reports. Additionally, this manager will have responsibility of managing external suppliers in a managed services and variable demand staff augmentation environment.
You will report to the Global Senior Director, Managed & Support Services.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support team to improve and evolve ways of working.
- Use experience to find gaps in the market and spot opportunities to create value propositions.
- Find opportunities to scale efficiencies and new ways of working across multiple tools, teams, and environments.
- Create an environment where people and technology are optimized to increase customer experience and employee satisfaction while reducing costs.
- Drive and take ownership for developing connections with other teams (Capabilities, Customer Success, Sales…) that help deliver profitably with customer experience in mind.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- 5+ years of experience with Remote Monitoring and/or Network Infrastructure Operations and related project implementation and management.
- 5+ years of experience developing and managing an IT/OT team.
- Deep technical understanding of IT/OT layers and zones.
- Technical knowledge of how IDCs work and understanding of technologies such as Verve, N-Able, Oracle, VMware, and more.
- Experience working in IT/OT Operations including knowledge of common tools, methods and techniques.
- Experience driving IT/OT solutions in large organizations, teaming with organizational groups and demonstrating the value of IT activities.
- Ability to solve large and complex issues which span organizational boundaries and work with a team to propose solutions.
- Demonstrated IT/OT Project management experience.
- Experience with regulatory environments including Sarbanes-Oxley, Section 404 and governance frameworks including COSO, ITIL and ISO17799.
- Must have experience with equipment backup, storage, and disaster recovery environments in a regionally diverse environment.
- Experience managing global Network and Security Operating Centers· Experience and strength in facilitating decisions and diffusing negative emotions or difficult scenarios.
