Windows PCs powered by Snapdragon X Elite are revolutionizing the PC industry by leading the technology transformation for AI, graphics, multimedia, connectivity, power, and performance. The Senior Staff, Field Application Engineer, NA Enterprise/Commercial Channel, will have a pre-sales focus and will work with strategic commercial channel partners in enabling them to successfully drive adoption of the Windows on Snapdragon Compute platform across the Enterprise. Through these commercial channel engagements, this individual will help connect IT to ISVs and developers to overcome line-of-business obstacles. In addition, he/she will be the voice of the customer and partner back to Qualcomm product, engineering and marketing teams on feature enhancements.

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the Execution of Qualcomm’s Worldwide Enterprise Compute Go-To-Market strategy across the NA Commercial Channel
• Supporting Qualcomm’s NA Commercial Channel teams through deep technical engagements with IT implementers and assisting with device evaluations, pilots and proof-of-concepts
• Leading the technical sales enablement for strategic commercial channel partners including CDW, Insight, Connection, SHI and TD Synnex.
• Evangelizing solutions to Enterprises that leverage Qualcomm technologies inclusive of Windows on Snapdragon, Industrial IOT, Small Cell Technology, and Extended Reality
• Reporting Windows on Snapdragon related issues and bugs to Qualcomm Customer Engineering that you and/or your enterprise customers and partners identify

The Senior Staff, Field Application Engineer, NA Enterprise/Commercial Channel, will have had extensive experience in supporting the sales and implementation of technology solutions into enterprise accounts through the commercial channel. He/she will have managed to sales targets and goals. The understanding of technically complex products and experience on how to position these to a broad audience are critical.

Pending ongoing COVID guidelines, travel expectations will be approximately 50-70%, and it is preferred that the individual reside within close proximity of a major, international airport for easier business travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical sales management expertise, the ability to manage change and the desire to operate effectively across organizations and customers
• Experience building complex solutions and driving new device adoption in large Enterprise accounts
• Experience in support of launching new technologies/products
• Ability to communicate, educate and evangelize both internally & externally
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative problem solving with strong analytical skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 6+ years of Field Application Engineering or related work experience.

OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 5+ years of Field Application Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 4+ years of Field Application Engineering or related work experience.

Pay range:

$133,500.00 - $200,500.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
