OPSWAT. Protecting the World's Critical Infrastructure
The Position
We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to design and maintain our technology infrastructure stack onsite in San Francisco. This position is responsible for our ISPs, firewalls, routers, switches, network storage, servers, and virtualization software.
You will be part of our L3 Interdisciplinary support team that resolves the most difficult problems, assisting both level 1 and level 2 specialists. Providing a streamlined support escalation path for efficient resolution and superior customer experience is an important core competency for this role. The position requires the ability to work independently to manage onsite support and requires hands-on support for local onsite users.
What You Will Be Doing
- Designing and implementing both the physical and wireless networks.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer infrastructure for our cloud and corporate on-premises infrastructures Network performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.
- Implementing security programs with hardware and software.
- Basic networking administration, including switching, routing, and firewalls.
- Participate in a 24/7 support on-call rotation.
What We Need From You
- Six years of hands-on networking experience
- Experience maintaining and managing Wireless LANs.
- Experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Virtualization, Storage Area Networks (SANs-NetApp preferred).
- Self-motivated and eager to dive in and make a difference.
It Would Be Nice If You Had
Certified in one or more of the following areas:
- Microsoft (SC-300 OR MCE)
- Cisco (CCNP OR CCNA)
- CompTIA Network+
- Palo Alto (PCNSA OR PCNSE)
- VMWARE (VCTA OR VCAP)
- Citrix XenServer Administrator
We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. The base pay for this position is dependent on location as outlined below, as well as the knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for benefits and equity.
Base Pay Range: $110,000 - $136,000 per year.
