Savage X Fenty is currently looking for a Social Media Associate.

The Social Media Associate serves as a key player for the growth, engagement, and overall voice of Savage X Fenty’s social media channels. The Associate will assist in all public-facing messaging and activations related (but not limited to) products, brand and industry news, customer service and helping to increase overall brand awareness.

The right person for this role will be extremely detail-oriented and will help to drive fan lifetime value and support revenue opportunities for the Savage X Fenty brand. They will also be comfortable speaking for a global brand with notable backers and crafting messaging, content, activations and more with that in mind.

This position will report to the Director, Head of Content – Savage X Fenty.

What you will do:

• Assist in the development of social media campaigns and brand initiatives including, but not limited to, engagement strategy, creative strategy & deliverables, messaging, and ensuring Savage X Fenty is unified and cohesive across social channels.
• Immerse yourself in the brand’s “voice” in order to represent Savage X Fenty in a consistent manner across all social media channels.
• Update content calendars and ensure all assets & messaging are approved and aligned with company objectives and brand voice while being released in a timely fashion.
• Interact with social community in a timely manner while being consistent with the brand voice to grow & nurture the community across multiple platforms.
• Grow and nurture community activity (conversations, tags, shares) and community size, helping to drive performance that aligns with strategic KPIs.
• Monitor and report on community sentiment & social listening trends and report back if escalation or action is required.
• Review, draft, and edit social copy (social posts, customer/user comments, brand interactions) that communicates approved campaign messaging while maintaining brand voice and social-first tone.
• Align on key moments & social media opportunities to include/feature our Brand Ambassador and creator content to drive business objectives.
• Help brainstorm and conceptualize larger social media and brand initiatives.
• Identify / anticipate social media trends for the brand to participate in or put its own spin on.
• Discover and build relationships with talent who Savage X Fenty should partner with for social media activations.
• Work closely with the customer service team to detect and resolve any public-facing customer issues, as well as present opportunities to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of key metrics across all social media channels and develop recommendations based on these findings to the broader team.
• Maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: PR, Marketing, Legal, CRM, Design, Studio, Creative and more to further the social media team’s objectives.
• Maintain confidentiality and understand the sensitive nature of our work in order to maintain brand integrity.

What you can bring:

• 3+ years social media experience in a professional environment. Entertainment, celebrity or consumer brand experience a plus.
• 2+ years experience managing social media channels and / or campaigns.
• Bachelor’s degree with a major or concentration in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or similar.
• Open to accept and offer constructive criticism and feedback.
• Highly organized and detailed self-starter with the ability to manage multiple project deadlines efficiently.
• Superior verbal, written, copy editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience with social media reporting tools such as Iconosquare, Google Analytics, Curalate and more.
• Understanding of social media KPI.
• Ability to work remotely without supervision but can also reach out for assistance if needed.
• Passionate about entertainment, celebrity, music, fashion and pop-culture news.
• Ability to work outside of normal business hours if needed.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $66,000-$67,000. Offers to candidates are expected to fall within this range and will depend on the scope and complexity of the role, work experience, subject matter expertise, work location and other relevant factors.
