Pluto TV is looking for a Social Media Coordinator who can support our small, but mighty Social Media team! This is a unique role that would support both Pluto TV’s English and Spanish social media marketing efforts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X! This person would work closely with our Social team, content partners, and Creative team to refine and amplify daily content for all Pluto TV socials. They would also be responsible for managing the editorial calendar and content creation for our US Hispanic handle: @SoyPlutoTV. The goal of our @SoyPlutoTV handle is to bring awareness to Pluto TV’s en español category. We need someone who is entrenched in US Hispanic culture; fluently speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish (as well as English) and can thoughtfully oscillate between the two languages. This role will report to the Director of Social Media. If you’re looking to learn from a group of social media gurus and want to grow your career in social media, this may be the role for you!

Responsibilities Include:

• Route English & US Hispanic (USH) social media creative assets and copy to content partners for approval, coordinating with the Creative and Social Media teams to make necessary updates.
• Encourage content partners to amplify content coming from the @PlutoTV and @SoyPlutoTV handles.
• Schedule all final partner-approved posts through Sprout Social.
• Collaborate with the USH marketing and programming teams to plan out the @soyplutotv editorial calendar (handle is live across Meta, TikTok, and X)
• Put in creative requests and write copy for posts promoting the content available in Pluto TV’s en español category.
• Tailor the language in creative & copy for specific demographics (i.e. for younger audiences content might be in Spanglish, while content for older audiences might be in all Spanish).
• Spearhead all USH community management, engaging with fans in a fun and meaningful way that gives personality to @soyplutotv! (alternating between Spanish, Spanglish, and English where it makes sense).
• Stay on top of major pop culture events, trending topics, related news stories, etc.; finding opportunities that may help bring awareness to Pluto TV’s en español content library.

Qualities / Experience

We believe the right individual will have the following skills and experience in order to be successful in this role:

• Fluent in Spanish and English: speaking, reading, and writing
• 1-2+ years experience in a social media or marketing role
• Strong, clear communication skills
• Meticulously organized with acute attention to detail
• Excellent creative writing skills
• Stellar collaborator that is excited to work with multiple cross function teams
• Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics platforms (i.e. Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.)
• Thrives in a fast-pace environment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $36,800.00 - 60,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
