Department: Marketing

Reports to: VP Marketing

Essential Functions

• Grow social media visibility and engagement across all platforms with a focus on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, and other user forums.
• Create and curate daily social media content including text and graphic
  layout/design in conjunction with our content development team members, especially our videographers and photographers.
• Write highly engaging social media content that reflects our brand’s voice.
• Help set monthly/annual goals by platform and determine steps to achieve them.
• Monitor and help respond to public comments and questions both
  during and after business hours and on weekends.
• Maintain a social media calendar and clearly communicate content needs to other team members.
• Always build and maintain a strong brand identity.
• Track and create summary reports of analytic data.
• Coordinate with other team members on marketing videos, campaigns, and product launches.
• Keep up to date on new and emerging trends, tools, scheduling platforms, and practices in social media.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Social Media Marketing, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related program with equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of social media experience
• Strong understanding of all social media platforms
• Knowledge of social media scheduling platforms
• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Attention to detail and self-driven; knows what to prioritize, and gets it done
• Excellent planning and time-management skills
• Understand the role of organic and paid social media strategies and know how to implement and maintain them
• Some basic photography may be required from time to time
• As we are an outdoor cooking company, any food or cooking experience is preferred
• Submission of a basic portfolio of social media &/or graphic design layouts is requested with the application
